LMS-2-Website
Turn a course exported from your LMS into a website, and publish it on GitHub Pages.

What it is
Export a course from Brightspace, Canvas, Moodle or Blackboard as an IMS Common Cartridge file (.imscc). LMS-2-Website reads it and builds a plain website — every page, quiz, assignment and file, with a menu and search — and then publishes it to GitHub Pages. Three steps, in one window. It uses no AI.
In testing, a real 135 MB course export became a 149-page website in about a second and a half.
LMS-2-Website is not on the Microsoft Store yet. This page will link to it when it is. Email Dr. Eaglin to be told when it is out.
What you can do
- Reads Common Cartridge exports from the major LMSs, including their quirks.
- Pages, quizzes (with the answer key), assignments, discussions and files, each on its own page.
- A menu, previous and next links, and search that works with no server.
- Publish to GitHub Pages, or build the website into a folder of your own.
Who it is for
Instructors who want their LMS course as an open website — to share it, or to keep it after the LMS term ends.
