What it is
App Opener and Timer opens the apps you choose, one after another on a timer, and shows how long each one stays open. Build a checklist once, save it as a named list, and start the whole set with one tap.
It suits a morning routine of check-ins, testing apps, walking through a kiosk, or rotating between streaming apps.
App Opener and Timer is not on Google Play yet. This page will link to it when it is. Email Dr. Eaglin to be told when it is out.
What you can do
- Pick apps from a checklist of everything installed on the phone.
- Named lists: make as many as you want, and open, edit, save or delete them. They are remembered.
- Set the seconds between launches for each list.
- Live timers: green and counting while an app is open, frozen in black once you close it.
- A clear Running or Stopped indicator.
- Run a one-off selection, or a saved list.
- No accounts, no ads, no analytics. Everything stays on the phone.
